Al Ahly Sporting Club (Egyptian pronunciation: [elˈahli]),[1] commonly known as Al Ahly or El Ahly, is an Egyptian sporting club. Founded in April 1907, Al Ahly was named in 2000 by the Confederation of African Football as the "African Club of the Century".

As of 2019, the club has won 137 official trophies (113 domestic, 4 regional and 20 continental), After winning the 2014 CAF Super Cup, Al Ahly set a new record in terms of international titles won.[3] Domestically the club has won the Egyptian Premier League 41 times, the Egypt Cup 36 times and the Egyptian Super Cup 11 times. In continental competitions, Al Ahly holds the record number of titles in the CAF Champions League (8 times), the defunct African Cup Winners' Cup (4 times), the CAF Super Cup (6 times).
