CFE is a Think Tank and Knowledge Hub embedded in Umm Al Quwain University (UAQU). Our core interest is the future-based economy, and its two main pillars: sustainability and digitalization.We want to make it our mission to be at the academic forefront of shaping the digital and sustainable economy in the UAE, and to support the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and the United Arab Emirates as a whole in their quests to re-shape the domestic economy successfully into ‘Industry 4.0'.To do so, we help advance the knowledge on digitalization and sustainability in an economic context, and facilitate the exchange between academia and industry by bringing professionals from both fields together.As part of our knowledge exchange, we deliver state-of-the-art educational courses and trainings to equip current and future business leaders and policy makers with the knowledge necessary to navigate companies or economies successfully into the digital and sustainable future.
