With due sorrow, we learned that Mr. Alawuddin, our selected delegate to the upcoming ‘Afghanistan Model United Nations Conference’ from Laghman University, was martyred in a remote controlled bomb explosion that happened on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Laghman Province.
We offer our condolences to his family, relatives, friends and Laghman University. Alawuddin was a talented student with an ambition to participate in our upcoming Conference. His death is a great loss. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace. Ameen!

Our team traveled to Badakhshan Province during April, 2018. They met with the relevant institutions, conducted interviews and gave students written tests to identify the most qualified and eligible students for participation in our upcoming 'Afghanistan Model United Nations Conference'.

The selected students in Laghman received a comprehensive five-day training from March 4-8, 2018.

A visit was conducted to Laghman during March 2018. Meetings were held and Afghanistan Model UN was officially introduced. Also, written tests were given and interviews conducted with the most eligible nominated students for participation in the upcoming 'Afghanistan Model UN Conference'.

Following the selection process, WADAN provided a comprehensive one-week training to the selected students at Bost University in Helmand. It covered a wide variety of thematic areas.
