" My wife and I spent our Honeymoon at this resort. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny. The 8 days we spent here flew right by, and we enjoyed every moment. The activities, multiple restaurants and accommodations were outstanding. All of the staff members were honestly friendly and very helpful. There's a taxi service that can take you into town, or you can venture out and rent a car for the day. We did both, along with all of the other activities that you can do on the beach. I highly recommend the BBC and club special for your drinks, we cant wait to return on vacation. "

" Dated facility. Good food and amazing staff, very friendly. Beach is in rough shape on one side. Pools are not like big resorts ,much smaller. Mini fridge is empty. You get a few bottles of water first day, after that you have to purchase bottled water. Decent place but not worth the money compared to other resorts in Caribbean. "

" Just returned home from this “resort” and I could honestly say I was completely disappointed. From the moment I got there it kept getting worse and worse. The ride from the airport to the resort was the worst ride of my entire life the man drove about 70 mph up mountains and around turns I was petrified. The resort was old, the staff weren’t very accommodating, and the food was way below average. I’m not a picky eater, but it was very hard for me to find anything edible. Since this is a tropical island I expected tons of fruit, there was barely any. The little fruit that they did have looked old I didn’t even attempt trying it. There is no night life here after about 5 the whole island goes quiet. They only have one beach in the resort and one bay. If I knew before hand I wouldn’t have traveled here I would have gone else where. NOBODY waste your money here! "

" Great place for vacation. Very clean. Staff is very friendly. Our room was newly renovated. Very safe island to travel around in. They have alot of free water activities, and paid excursions. I recommend Calypso Cat, and Pink Panther Safaris "

" Formerly the Holiday Inn at Momora Bay and now not so recently the St. James's Club & Villas. The Picturesque views of two beaches and surroundings area are part of the charm of the hotel. The grounds and the total property have seen many expansions and upgrades with the recent addition of hilltop Villas with astounding panoramic views.

There is a rougher beach on the eastern side in the St. James Bay and the calmer beach in the Mamora Bay on the western side is the more popular beach commonly called east bay and west bay respectively. A sharp rocky coastal area on the eastern side facing the entrance of the Mamora Bay is popular with anglers and guests. All of the standard hotel amenities are present and the well kept grounds and facilities all help to provide a rich and rewarding guest experience. "

" Stayed here for a birthday celebration and we had a wonderful time.
The last night of our stay there was a storm passing and the staff prepped us and handled the morning after breakfast beautifully.
We will definitely be back "

" We came here on part of our honeymoon and were very happy. The food variety is very good with 4 different resteraunts to choose from and each having a good selection of Caribbean food for all pallets. The Drinks selection wasn't lacking and they had a cocktail menu to choose from, although we stick to rum or wine. The room we stayed in was comfortable and sizable. With a lovely view looking out over the sea. The beaches were lovely, with one calmer beach inside a cove and the other connected to the Atlantic so was a little rougher. All the staff were friendly and any request was no bother for them. Both my wife and I would happily come here again. "

" Fantastic - come here if you get the chance!

Have been coming here for 17 years - it's better every year. Welcoming, attentive resort with an eye for detail, great dining, service, resort maintenance, fantastic beds, and, well, those beaches, those views. This place merits the title "One of the best in the Caribbean" and it is the best value for money luxury resort in the area. "

" Thank you to the staff and management for another wonderful stay at the St James’s Club – Antigua! After enjoying a terrific stay in 2016, we visited the SJC-Antigua a second time in February 2017. We were so pleased to find that the staff and management found a number of new ways to make our stay extra delightful, relaxing and not repetitive. The resort is very well maintained and manicured and the décor is clean with a Caribbean/tropical flair. The location is superb for our tastes - away from it all with a beautiful and varied setting. We are two adults traveling with two boys ages 9 and 6 and we will be back. We are not time share owners.

This year we were impressed by the welcoming smiles and pleasantries of each member of the resort during our daily walks around the resort. Thank you all for helping to find ways to keep us happy.

For meals, we frequented the Docksider restaurant more often than last year and were pleased to find the food delicious (we consider ourselves NYC foodies).

The beaches and pools are varied and beautiful with pools set aside for adults only, children only or anyone.

While it was sunny each day we were there in 2016 & 2017, the amount of wind can vary. Our 2017 visit welcomed calm wind for the majority of the stay which made for fun and easy sunfish sailing and relaxing lounge chair bakes on either beach. Our 2016 visit had strong winds for much of the time and staff raked the red kelp off the ocean beach throughout the day (Coco’s Beach - St James Bay). But this just meant we enjoyed the pools and water sports beach more.

Activities:
There are plenty of activities provided by the resort if you want to participate and the wonderful thing about the activities is that they are arranged so that they do not invade on others’ relaxation. If you want to participate, you name it, they have it.

Kids Club – The number of kids in the kids club depends on the day. Sometimes it is possible that a child may receive one on one attention. he kids club always has something planned for each hour, but these activities may change depending on what the kids want to do.

Water Sports – we spent the most time in the water sports section of the resort both years. Our oldest son loved to alternate from sailing a boat to a paddle board to a kayak to a paddle boat to snorkeling and fishing. The organized boat races were a hoot and it was fun to give sail boarding a try too.

Tennis – we enjoyed hitting the ball around at our leisure as well as the tennis lessons we set up on the side. The tennis pro was wonderful with both boys and was sure to customize the lesson for each child’s ability.

Athletic Center – The new athletic center opened during our stay in 2016 and we enjoyed popping in when we wanted to use the bikes, treadmills and weight machines at our leisure. This center is absolutely amazing and is likely to be one of the best you will see at any resort.

Snorkeling and fishing through the St James Club – a little motor boat took us around the side of the resort to Willoughby Bay to enjoy the fish around the coral in that area. We appreciated these little excursions in 2016 and in 2017. In 2016 our then 8 year old was just learning how to snorkel in waves, so he did not last long. And, on the day we were fishing in 2016, the waves were a bit much for our then 5 yr old. But, having repeated both activities in 2017, I can say that the weather was beautiful during our stay and the boys loved the fishing and the snorkeling (although our 6yr old watched the snorkelers from the boat).

Scuba through Mamora Bay Divers at St James Club – This team is terrific and very experienced with excellent one on one service. Thank you again for four wonderful dives, and the reef shark sighting was perfect! "
