Women in Data Science (WiDS) is an initiative which aims to inspire and educate data scientists, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field (CS and/or Data Science). WiDS Tirana is an independent event organized by WiDS Ambassador from Albania, to coincide with the annual WiDS Worldwide conference. WiDS started as a one day conference at Stanford in 2015 and since then it has become a global movement which holds yearly global and regional conferences in more than 60 countries reaching 100,000 participants annually online and in person.The first annual conference Women in Data Science - Tirana, will be hosted at University of New York Tirana (UNYT) on March 8th, 2021.Join us on International Women's Day to celebrate influential women in the most empowering way possible!
