" Questionable invoicing practice. I understand that all provider has the same fee with regard to their service. Some a little more than the others which is normal.

BUT I got invoice for an SMS that i do not believe i responded to but still got invoiced and this is during the time the entire family had covid in January so their clinician has no reason to charge us or visit us for a home session.

They also invoiced me for a report in 3x part in January each cost $193 and held on to it until i pay for all the outstanding invoice. Then in end of march, i realised i did not received the report at all. I asked them to send me a copy urgently and the response i get is that "Please find attached invoice for processing, upon payment THE COMPLETED REPORT WILL BE SENT TO YOU"
I thought hold on. why are they holding on to a report that has already been paid for, why is one outstanding invoice the reason these guys are withholding the report and there is only one outstanding generated today.
SO i called these guys and asked for a team leader to call me. I did not received a call. So i went to NDIS and NDIA to lodge an official complaint and decided to withdraw their service.
I would not recommend these guys to anyone. "

" Please note that this company charges for all communication - phone calls and the travel to your home. A single speech therapy session would cost you around 400$.

They charged me 200$ only to come to my home. They also charged me for the phone calls they did to my previous speech therapist, which I suggested would help them with the approach to my son.

I had to pay for 2 sessions 745AUD. The therapy session was below expectations and my son ran away from the room.

Unless you have money to throw away for bad quality service I would not recommend this company for speech therapy. "

" This service provider is the worst we have ever dealt with. The people that came out didn't know what they were doing. The three times they came out, they forgot our names, wasted time, asked us what to do for OT and speech therapy and how we would like them to do it. We were seeking help from them for our 3 year old, not the other way around.

They claim to be not for profit but actively price gouge whenever they can, all to make a profit. There is no transparency on fees whatsoever. They charged in 6 minute increments (I found this out only after questioning their billing). The second time they came out they came out at the wrong time and then charged us for the 15 minutes they were knocking on the neighbours door.

The OT also said to my wife that she doesn't have much experience in what she is doing.

Every week I would have to question the billing as their billed time vs time actually doing what their meant to be doing were completely out. Also travel time was extremely excessive and different each week.

They are basically taking away our critical funding for their own profit, which is absolutely disgusting. Their needs to be laws in place to stop companies like this from doing what they do.

This company has made us feel uneasy about choosing any other service provider. Lucky we now have some great support from others.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If you do, proceed with caution. "

" Absolute waste of time. They didn't deliver what they promise. Was told we'd be contact by an OT within 2 weeks, so I went ahead and completed an in-depth referral online. 4 Weeks and 3 calls to them later, I'm told they don't have an OT able to assist, please try elsewhere! So very disappointing when orgs get cashed up, yet don't know how to provide accurate information - educate your front-line staff!! "

" I recently started my role as a Therapy Assistant at Ability Action Australia, and I was extremely impressed with the recruitment process and overall culture of the company. Right from my initial contact with AAA prior to the interview, there was always someone available to answer my questions and update me. Throughout my induction, I also had access to support from a wide variety of disciplines including OT, physiotherapy, exercise physiology and regular contact with team leaders and business partners also. Additionally, everyone on the team has been so welcoming and I have been made to feel very valued. AAA not only values its team greatly but has outstanding standards for improving the lives of NDIS participants and their families. I am infinitely grateful to be a part of the Ability Action Australia team. "
