1st Fitzroy Scout group is a group that has heritage linking all the way back to 1909...1909-1965, 1976-1987 and 2012-Present

So even though there's been a few gaps, 1st Fitzroy Scout group has had and continues to have a strong linage to Fitzroy, Brunswick St and more recently the Atherton Gardens estate youth.

Even after all these years and reformations, 1st Fitzroy has maintained the historical Red and Blue colours of the FItzroy Football club (now merged and known as the Brisbane Lions) in our scarves.

1st Fitzroy Scout group is also one of the founding members of the newest Scouts Victoria district "Yarra District" with our other local founding units Richmond, Clifton Hill and Carlton and soon to be launched North Melbourne.
