" Very happy with our blind purchase. customer service from head office in Campbellfield was fantastic. thank you so much Neray! UPDATE! It has been 7 months (Mar 2017) since we had our bistro blinds were installed and i must say it has been the best purchase i have ever made.
AOL also provided us with custom made wind shields to cover the gaps between our bistro blinds. They have kept out the cold this winter and we have been able to use the pergola all during the freezing winter months with the help of our outdoor heaters of course. The larger blind which hangs over the pool is 4.8 metres wide and has been able to handle the wind very easily. It has been the best investment ever! "

" Horrible experience with totally unprofessional company
After signing contract and had measurement done, I was advised that the plans will be sent to me within a week to approve it and then they will start the process of getting the permit but I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I called the representative to ask about job progress and he said that he will advise one from the office to call me but no one called , So I called them next day to find that they haven't finished the plans yet as they are running behind . I talked to the manager who apologised and then in couple of hours he sent the plans via email and directed it to building surveyor( the job that they didn't finish in 6 weeks took 2 hours after my call, how fast?!!).After two days , I was shocked to get an email from the manager who advised an extra cost of 4700$ as I asked to get the pergola near the fence. Email involved complicated details that I couldn't understand at all and wasn't mentioned before signing the contract (Details like fire engineering report and re-establishment survey to build against boundary fence ) .When their representative initially attended to my home to make the deal , I asked to get the pergola as close as possible to the fence and he confirmed that the maximum extra cost for that job will be from 200$ to 1200$ and he kept ensuring that there won't be any extra cost and that his company is the only company that never takes any extra cost rather than written in the contract and I agreed to get a good job .When I discussed it with the manager and explained the huge extra price gap in comparison to what company's representative said , he was speechless and then said that there is difference between one customer and other and they normally advised customer that it will be between 200$ and 1200$ but it is not guaranteed, ,therefore I directly cancel my contract with them .I can't imagine how bad will it be If all that troubles happened already while they haven't started the job yet . Definitely I will never recommend anyone to this company for any of the service they offer.

" Buyer beware. 5 months of stress!
Blinds fitted 2 months after quote. This company uses independent contractors who couldn't care less about the product or quality of installation.
Despite interrupting our day twice to measure & re-measure the space, the blinds did not fit. The legs didn't sit flush with our decking and were a hazard for our small children. One blind was damaged with a cut through the material and the installers left an exposed cutting blade on our outdoor furniture. Installers also refused to take the huge boxes & packaging away!
2 months after our complaint (which required us to take many photos) the company admitted to losing all our paperwork and sent another staff member to inspect. After a further 2 weeks we were told they had no installer to fix our blinds.
Finally after contacting ACCC to find out our rights, we asked that they remove the blinds and fix any damage. Another independent contracted electrician came (5 months after the initial quote!) to remove the blinds. He however, refused to repair all the drilled holes in our verandah posts.
Would never recommend this company. Terrible product, no permanent staff and in no hurry to provide any customer service. "

" Do not get artificial lawn done by AOL. I decided to go through them despite them being the most expensive as I wanted a professional experience, no hassles and the best quality. I did not receive that.
Our first sales person tried to trick us and pressure us into signing straight away. We got another person out who was better and we signed with him. After the check and measure, I had to call numerous times to hassle them to get my job booked in (I had already paid over 4K deposit). It was months before they came. The first installer was late every day, stuffed around for the first day and took 3 days to complete the job (rushing at the end and finishing late at night). He tried to trick me into paying more money, told me I could have got the job done for much cheaper had I gone straight through him, and lied about many aspects of the job. The finished job was appalling and caused a flood in my garage so I contacted AOL to get someone to check it. The second installers confirmed that the job was not up to scratch- the garden bed sleepers had not been joined at all, the grass was no level and lumpy, the base was done wrong, the grass wasn't pegged or glued properly, it was cut incorrectly and looked disgraceful. Although the second installers were on my side, it took months of arguing with one of the managers before my job was confirmed to be fixed. The installers told me the whole grass would have to be replaced as it was cut incorrectly all over, but AOL wouldn't agree to it. After getting the general manager involved, it finally got done and to a great standard. However It took 6 months of stress, and my job was pushed back to prioritize others who hadn't paid. They had 8.5k off me, so they didn't care. I had to waste so much time calling and emailing and staying home only to find out my job had been changed again. I'm still waiting for crushed rock to be removed from my driveway, weeks after it has been left. I Will never recommend this company for any of the services they offer. "

" Sales rep was very friendly he was open to negotiating other quotes I had so I feel I now have the best quality outdoor blinds for a satisfactory price, the gentleman who double measured and installed my blind was very friendly, worked fast and most importantly didn't leave a mess behind overall they are a customer minded and very efficient company. " I would not recommend dealing with AOL.
I had artificial grass installed which appeared fine at the time with plenty of sand spread on top of the lawn, the day after i noticed corners which were not pinned down and sections which were faded and stood out.
I called up straight away, got the worst customer service, the company hesitated to help, i eventually got the installers contact number, the number was always busy or never answered, i felt like my calls were screened and not answered on purposed after leaving voicemails, i got every excuse under the sun as to why they couldnt visit, after sending photos they questioned if i had done something to cause the damage, end of the story the company did not help me out at all, i got sick of calling the Rep who never answered, brought pins myself, pinned down what the rep didnt do, and i am living with the discoloured section of my lawn.
Very unhappy customer, don't believe the responses to this advising their customers are taken seriously, they are nice to get you to sign up, after that your just a number.
Best to shop around, would never deal with these guys again for anything.

" I engaged AOL to install approx 100m of artificfial lawn in 4 different locations at my home in August 2016. Sales consultant, Stewart took me through all the options so I had a clear understanding. Contracts were subsequently signed, deposit paid and shortly thereafter a final measure was carried out, and a few days later the contractor arrived with his team and did an amazing job completing the entire installation works on the same day. Very impressed with end result. As it turns out my next door neighbours ARE the Joneses, and now I feel that, having come from a such a long way behind, I have actually surpassed them! Can't wait to see what they do next to catch up! Thanks AOL ! "

There were lots of areas of concern for us regarding beams, poles, gaps etc. The team at AOL handled all our concerns and resolved them to our satisfaction.
