" North Melbourne boxing is in my opinion the best boxing and fitness gym in Melbourne. Steve is without doubt one of the best coaches / trainers I have ever had the pleasure of working with (and I've had Olympic coaches help train me in the past) and I have to highly recommend utilising his knowledge, skills and motivation to get fit, learn to box and have fun. If you have the chance go. Awesome team. "

" I started learning to box on a mine site in the desert in 2013 and I thought we were working and training hard - and then when I returned to Melbourne I started training at NMBF and got a real appreciation for what it is like to sweat and train hard - and I will never look back. It's hard to describe to people what we do at this gym- but it sure 'ain't Boxercise!
Steve has struck an incredible balance - with professional boxers, amateurs, and people who are using boxing as a means to stay fit and focused, all feeling comfortable to train and develop their skills in the one space.
Steve and the other trainers here know everyone's names, make every member feel like a part of the family, and absolutely smash us with intense training sessions that are NEVER the same and always challenging.
There's no fakers or show ponies here- just a community who always put in 110%, support each other and kick some serious butt! "

" I've been training at NMBF for just under 3 years. I love the culture that Steve has created, it's a great place to train and everyone is focused on themselves, there are no egos in this gym. The classes are fabulous and my fitness levels have improved immensely since my training commenced and I have made some life long friends. It's a blessing to be a part of such a great community. "
