" Had a balayage here about a year ago and have been coming back regularly, Tracy is my stylist she is just fantastic! Great salon, and the staff are so much fun to be around, always joking amongst themselves, happy place to come to and my hair always looks fantastic! Thanks guys! "

Prior to my last experience i was going to this salon for more than 1 year. The last time i went i asked them if a permanent hair colour would last longer than a semi to which i was told yes and i was advised that it wasnt the best idea because if id later decided to change my hair colour it would be a lot harder to go lighter. so i asked them to dye my hair with permanent instead of semi permanent colour anyway because every time i got a semi colour done it would wash out in 3-4 washes and i didnt plan on changing my hair colour any time in the near future.
here i am 5 weeks later - after WAITING 1 WEEK to get a response for a resolution...!!!!
i told them that i was disappointed that i had washed my hair 4 times in 4 weeks and that the colour had disappeared completely. (i wash my hair once a week btw) the "manager" Tracy turned around and told me (a week after id first made contact with them) that because id waited 5 weeks i now have to pay to get a new colour put in.... they’re blaming ME for this!! i told the "manager" (whom i was speaking with over the phone) that they had lost a customer and that i will be taking my business elsewhere and she said to me "what can we do to resolve this?" FINALLY!! i asked if they could re-colour my hair or refund me to which i got the response of "im sorry like i stated earlier because you waited 5 weeks you will need to pay to get it done" so i hung up and this is why i am writing this review. id advise anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere! "

" I had a great first time experience at Head Studio today. Read the reviews on google maps and decided to give it a go. The head stylist Tama did my colour which I loved and another brilliant girl (can't remember her name) did my cut. Was far better than my expectations. I normally have a lot of anxiety about getting a new hair cut. But everyone at Head Studio were so nice, had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and seriously all the women walking out of there were looking amazing so they must have a great team of hair dresses. The price was good too. Would pretty much pay anything to feel good about a haircut so less than $200 for a full color cut and treatment felt like a bargain to me. "

Thought I'd go here and give these people a try after I saw their autumn offer of $100 for a full hair colour well it didn't even get to that stage.. I booked in through facebook and sent a couple photos of my hair and what colour I wanted, I got quoted a minimum of $209 because I wanted to go from a brown to a pinkish colour which was fair enough because it was dark to a light colour and at the time they hadn't seen my hair before and before my appointment I actually already had a hair cut with my original hairdresser of 8+ years and I thought head studio could do me a cheaper offer and after what my normal hair dresser had told me I only needed one round of bleach to get to the colour I wanted and she could do it for $150 so I went to head studio and after them seeing my hair they still said $209 was a 'spot on price' for what I wanted, I said so there''s no way you could do one round of bleach and get to my colour she said no as I needed my hair a white pallete to start from and it might even need 3 rounds of bleach and we would have to do it in 2 seperate appointments costing more money then $209, as I asked if she could cancel and rebook as I'm on centrelink and don't have that much money on me I saw in the notes on the computer for my appointment as the computer is paralell to the front desk 'quoted $209, full hair colour, try to do it in one hit because she can't afford to come back haha' I couln't believe what I was seeing, someone would actually write 'haha' I took a second and a third look it deffinately said 'haha' I was gobsmacked I couldn't believe someone could be so rude. I felt like I wasn't good enough for them. I saw good and bad reviews about this place but I thought I'd keep an open mind and try them out never again ! I'll take my services back to my known hairdresser where I actually got my hair dyed and it came out bright as the sun and the colour I wanted after one round of bleach and minimum $60 cheaper, bye head studio Rockingham ! "
