Food waste management is one of the focus areas of RAUM. Baaki is an innovative program of RAUM for closing the loop of nutrients contained in urban food waste. It encapsulates collection strategies, effective treatment methods specifically for food waste, and 100% conversion into the fertiliser, which can go back into the production of food. Waste auditing associated with food waste management also comes under this area.
