Alternative for kids during windy weather is palm beach). but it has strong wind on the beach itself due to locations. Also recently, people's bags got stolen so watch out your stuff when you are there. There are polices officer drive around as well. Btw, when you arrive, there are always people try to sell you the shade and comfort, remember chairs you pay for. But those palapas are free to use. If you are economical as me, then just lay down on a towel under one of the palapas :) - they call me :) "
