" We received a very warm welcoming and starters were delicious (salad and escargots). From there, things turned to the worst... Given the standard of this restaurant and the prices, both main dishes were simply uneatable. Fish was obviously fried in old vegetable oil and all 3 fish types had the same taste, the taste of oil. Rabbit was tasteless. On the side we had some defrosted vegetables, also tasteless. We barely touched our dishes. Laughing about the tasteless turnout of our date, we explained the situation to the waiter, who took those dishes away without any further communication. We had nothing to eat and we definitely didn't look forward to try other items from the menu, so we decided to leave. We were then asked to pay for those dishes. Seeing my surprise, the waiter offered to exclude the price of drinks (3e per drink, compared to 15-20e per dish). He took note of my email address and phone number and said that the owner will contact me. Obviously that never happened. It was the worst culinary experience I ever had in Benelux. Complete waste of money. You can eat a better meal for 5e at McDonerbox (best kebab in the city). You will receive a much more caring attitude from "an immigrant" than from a local waiter at the Benelux. If you are looking for local cousines, try Harry's.
On the positive side, I learned what "Brusselse caviar" is;) "

Seizoensgebonden gerechten en heerlijke verse visgerechten.
Al sinds jaar en dag dé plek waar wij en onze familie geregeld en heerlijk uitgebreid gerecht eten, een simpel lekker gerecht eten of gewoon alleen voor een toetje lang gaan.
