[JOB OFFER] - CHEF : Nice trendy place in the center of Brussels. We have a great team and are in need of another cook, 40h/week. The menu is relatively simple but we require hard work and dedication.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, experienced foodie chef to run our day restaurant. We do american breakfast and brunch (egg benedict, pancakes, ...), we LOVE fusion, eggs, naan, fresh foods and anything green. We are looking for a die hard foodie, with ...experience to run "à la carte" breakfast/ lunch/brunch on Sunday, handle orderings, stocks, haccp, etc. Good hygiene standards ensuring clean and well-organized kitchen.
Competent in all aspects of food preparation and cooking, able to work in a fast pace under pressure Experience required in brunch eggs (poached, fried, boiled, etc), sauces (hollandaise, chipotle, etc) and pancakes (we make like thousands a week).
Able to follow recipes and have a eye for fine details Works well as both part of a team or when un-supervised
Must be able to work on weekends.
The right applicant must have:
Years of experience related to the job offer : 3 to 5 years of kitchen experience Description of qualifications : Autonomous, responsible, leadership, initiative. Languages asked (spoken & written) : English or French Salary offered : based on legal rate Number of hours per week : min. 40 Job status : permanent full time Wednesday to Sunday. Monday and Tuesday off NO SHIFTS! Job start date : to be discussed
