" At the moment im stil here at hotel.. im furious at the.moment our room never cleaned since we got here last Wednesday..although im great to say the food and drinks brilliant cant comlain with that..i am so angry about the housekeeping..rubbish.. management need to do something about it.today our room never been touch at all despite ive put the cleaning requests outside our door.our toilet bowls still dirty for 3 days now... I've pulled out our bed linen so they know i want t it changing and the towels.. but no.. never done.. i get back to our room today so knackered after all day out and hoping my room were tidy and cleaned .. but was shocked never been touch.very disappointed. I called reception and they said they will remind the cleaner!!very helpful! I still got 3days left with my holidays hope they will clean up properly as 4star do.. cleanliness n room was rubbish. Thats all i can complain everything great! "

" Huge complex & Shopping Mall. Dedicated & Helpful Staff. Clean Rooms & Daily Housekeeping. Lots of small bars/Cafes in or around the hotel. Mosquitoes so keep windows & Doors closed and use AC. Keep Repellant sprays handy if you are susceptible like me. All inclusive is good value. Family Friendly. "

" Absolutely loved this hotel. Rooms are very spacious with a good sized balcony to go with it.
We arrived late about 2 o'clock in the morning and after not eating since dinner we were pleased to see that a meat and cheese board with some bread and wine was left in the room for us to have a nibble before bed. A great touch.
The two buffet restaurants are great, although we definitely preferred the Cape Emine, the food seemed a bit better in my opinion. All the staff were very attentive offering drinks and clearing away plates promptly, even if their English wasn't the best.
Pool bar is brilliant. The staff are full of character and always seemed happy and cheerful. Great the the cocktails were included on All Inclusive. The snack selection on the pool bar was OK, we only had a few things from here as the main meals were enough to fill us most of the time.
The only negative I have of the whole of the Barceló is the A La Cartè restaurant. This is at the pool bar in the evenings. We were served our starters (mix meat and cheese plater) promptly which was great but less than a minute after clearing away just my plate while my girlfriend was still eating, the main courses were served to both of us. By the time she was finished her starter, her steak was cold. The staff spoke broken English and made it difficult to explain to them. So later I'm the evening we went back to the Cape Emine buffet.
The pool areas are very nice and there are plenty of sun loungers to go about (even tho people always seem to leave there towels and steal beds all day for no reason). The gym is basic but has all the equipment that is needed for a good workout. But if you go at 9am it's a little busy.
Outwith the hotel there is alot of attractions and things to do with lots of tour companies.
Overall the Barceló is a great hotel and I would definitely recommend a visit.

" Staff were amazing especially the Animation Team (Ryan, Gabriel, Yordan, Anastasia) who kept up the positive vibe around the pool and are extremely down to earth and friendly! Hotel pools nice and all inclusive very generous, all buffets were tasty and there was an excellent selection of drinks and cocktails. Rooms a bit dated but ok nonetheless, the biggest downside was they weren't cleaned very well - towels not replaced, bed made haphazardly, bathrooms left untidy. But nothing awful. Overall excellent value for money, I'd look to Barcelo again. Nice hotel and a good jumping off point to explore Sunny Beach. "

" We arrived and got a room in section F wich is closer to the back exit of the hotel,when i've asked the lobby stuff to get some room closer to the lobby and the dinning room because i have some knee problems and can't walk a lot i was refused by the reason that the hetol is full and there is no empty rooms. But it wasnt full even by half! So every time that we needed to get to the lobby or the dinning room it took us more that 5 minutes to get there.
But the worst thing was that in the shower room there was a MOLD on the wall and when i told to the stuff about the they even didin't understood me what i've ment. And of course no one didn't do anything about it for 4 days than we stayed in the hotel.So it was really dissappoing stay in that hotel i was really excited stay theret. Probaply i'll never stay there anymore. "

" Great hotel overall, not 5 stars as rated in brochures but clean and loverly rooms. Most staff are very friendly. We really liked the manager, a very understanding guy who gets things sorted! Food is repetetive but to be expected - not 5 star though. Enetertainment hit and miss. Pools are loverly,always clean. Bar available 24hrs. Close enough to sunny beach to walk but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise. Could do with having food all the time, not just certain hours of the day. Also, breakfast had plenty of choice but was never really hot. I would recommend the a la carte as this is wonderful. Also the bistro at the outside bar is excellent too (starters are almost mains)! "
