Dear friends and Akita Inu fanciers,
I would like to inform you that from this day on my Akita Inu kennel club shall be named "Bagatur Ken". I've already registered the new name with FCI, thus receiving a new regstration number - 5/2015.
I have decided to change my club's name, because I want to integrate it deeper with my Bulgarian origins. The name "Bagatur" derives from ancient Bulgarian military ranks. A "Bagatur" is a warior, who's mastered the art of war and inner harmony. In other words, a true Bulgarian samurai. My goal is to create a kennel club brand that will symbolize both the perfection of the Akita Inu breed and the interconnection between Japanese and Bulgarian cultures.
