ENERGIKO was founded in 2008 as a privately owned Bulgarian energy company with infrastructure and commodity trading operations on the European market.We know the energy value chain focusing on gas and power trading, and accelerating infrastructure modernization and expansion.ENERGIKO has built up an unrivalled track record in the energy and infrastructure sector being the Bulgarian private sector pioneer of the Southern Gas Corridor and LNG.In cooperation with an international consulting company ENERGIKO developed the feasibility study for the Interconnector Greece - Bulgaria Pipeline securing grant financing in the amount of 45 million Euro under the European Energy Program for Recovery.ENERGIKO's operations have evolved expanding our horizons to include marketing and trading operations mainly in the acquisition, transmission, storage and marketing of natural gas to Bulgarian and Greek markets.We possess in-depth industry experience spanning the full spectrum of trading activities in the natural gas business. Our team has successfully worked on sourcing, transmission, storing and supplying natural gas, including utilizing "backhaul capacity" at the interconnection point Kulata (BG)/Sidirokastro (GR).ENERGIKO is the first international (non-Greek) company with access to the only existing LNG terminal in Greece (Revithoussa) with the first LNG tanker arriving on 31 August 2019.ENERGIKO EOOD is a well established natural gas trading company with successful operations in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. In all countries of operations, we have obtained the trading licenses from the respective regulatory authorities, signed valid contracts with the TSOs and became an active member of the national exchanges (HENEX/Greece, Balkan Gas Hub/Bulgaria and BRM/Romania).In March 2022, the company received an electricity trading license and since then is a participant in the power market in Bulgaria and has the capacity to trade with the neighboring countries.
