I think they should be all fired for the incompetence and negligence. Additional the organization of the departures is so pure that I had to stay in the queue fro an hour, going down slowly on stairs. Terrible organization of the passengers boarding, normal space on the 1st floor wasted and I got tired already before getting on board. Additionally the plebs that was flying was unbearable, hate to the foreigners and national socialism clearly visible. A big mistake was made allowing it to join EU. "

" Hands down the worst imaginable airport staffed with complete and utter morons. Only fly into this airport if you're forced to attend a funeral.
I've never seen such idiotic staff and absurd facility. To check-in 3 short-haul flights in the morning it takes 3 hours to get to the gate. Passengers missing flights en masse. Airport staff is acting like lobotomized zombies. Horror. "

" This airport is definitely amongst the worst! The security and staff are extremely impolite and when asked questions they turn hostile (not to mention helpful as a brick wall). The security has been docile. The several times I've been there, I've never seen all checking points open, regardless of the amount of people waiting. What's more, the passenger lounges are very cold and rather small for a larger number of passengers with old and lobbly seats. This winter I actually saw people hugging the radiators to stay warm! The whole airport feels cramped and depressing, even when it's almost empty.
The food stalls and the few other venues close when there are no departing flights, leaving people from delayed flights (and too often there are many) to fend for themselves. There's no smoking room, but thankfully the toilets are acceptable.
My personal conspiracy theory is that the airport is kept in such a deplorable state for two main reasons: to promote the newer Terminal 2 and more importantly, to force passengers into paying to stay at the Sofia Lounge, which is the bare minimum of how an airport should look. "
