Island Sole is owned by Natalie Bennett (Podiatrist) and Stuart McIntosh (Podiatrist) both of Bermuda Podiatry Centre. Island Sole was an idea which evolved after years of recommending footwear to our patients to address their lifestyle, occupational and footcare needs only to find those shoes unavailable in Bermuda.
Our store opened in the summer of 2012 with a range of sandals, flip flops, casual and dress shoes for men and ladies with a focus on fashion AND comfort. And yes, we even sell comfortable and sexy high heels ! Responding to our patients and customers requests we quickly added service industry footwear including nursing, hospitality and chef shoes and recently began stocking steel toe and construction footwear.
Island Sole has the largest selection of sizes and width fittings in Bermuda, most of our ladies styles start at a size 5 and go up to a size 13 while men's styles can be found up to a size 16 ! Where available from the distributor, we will bring most styles in varying width fittings, regular / medium , slim / narrow, wide and extra wide to ensure perfect fit.
