In November of 1988 Leo and Debbie Jordan founded Swiss Timing in a small upstairs shop in the Walker Arcade in the heart of the capital of Bermuda – Hamilton. The original Swiss Timing Shop opened as a retail store offering quality watches and clocks for sale, repair and service for all brands of watches and clocks.

In the early days Swiss Timing offered only three brands of watches and one line of clocks. Within one year their reputation for quality and value, new lines of watches and clocks, and increasing demands for service and repairs, demanded that the young business find larger premises!

In May of 1989 Swiss Timing moved to their second location in Chancery Lane. The larger new store allowed Swiss Timing to take on another watchmaker and additional sales personnel to handle the growing list of customers and offer something new – sales and service of select jewellery.

For the next 9 years Swiss Timing established a reputation for excellence in service, fair pricing, unusual designs and made their mark in the Diamond business in Bermuda. Swiss Timing today has the largest access to diamond suppliers in Bermuda allowing them to offer a wide range of top quality stones at unbeatable prices. A qualified European trained goldsmith has also joined the team in response to the demand for custom jewellery designs.

One last move brought Swiss Timing to their current home at 95 Front Street. Built on a solid foundation of customer trust built up over the last 24 years, Swiss Timing today is a unique jewellery store with a European flair and the acknowledged source for fine watches, clocks, expert repair and fine custom work.

The future for Swiss Timing is clearly focused on an ongoing commitment to be the foremost purveyor of fine clocks, watches, diamonds, custom jewellery and unique designer collections from Europe.

We have the largest selection of Leather Watch Straps and Watch Bracelets in Bermuda – if we do not have it anybody does and it probably does not exist.

Largest source of Diamonds - If it’s a Diamond you are looking for we can get it for you at the very best prices. We also offer a trade up program – that is if you purchase a diamond from Swiss Timing we will credit you the money that you originally paid for your diamond to a larger diamond and all you have to do is pay the difference.

Custom designs – Can’t find what you are looking for let our European trained jeweler sketch and custom make any piece of jewellery that your heart desires. The only limitation in this department is your imagination.

Jewellery service – if your jewellery is in need of a bubble bath and a good clean and polish bring it in to us and an in no time you will look like brand new.

Appraisals: With the increase in the price of gold and the increase in crime – remember to insure your jewellery. We can appraise your jewellery or watches and if you want a photo of each item we can supply that as well.
