As a young woman I was always interested in the beauty world. I painted my nails often and took care of my feet. It didn't dawn on me until I went on a family trip that I wanted to be a nail technician. We were going out for an event and I was doing my nails and then my auntie wanted hers done than my cousin and it lead me to come back and start doing nails, which was in 1997. Over time I bought my first car which was a Suzuki and opened a charge account at Sunshine Company for $50. I started with 7 people that allowed me to use them as Guinea pigs(LOL)! What a job I would do! My painting skills where a mess and it took me about 3 months to get it right. I can say that I'm not book smart and I didn't go to school, so I let my clients read to me as I performed the service. Talk about trust! As one would say, "I have the gift of gab!"In 2004, I was given the opportunity to go away to college for massage therapy, at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy where I completed an 18-month program and graduated with my certification in Massage therapy in 2006. While I was in Canada, I also went to a beauty school called Be Exchange where I studied to perform manicures, pedicures and body waxing. Being in the beauty school allowed me to have multiple skills so I could perform many services in my profession.My journey has been challenging, exciting and so rewarding that I am grateful for where I am today! I have reached majority of my goals in life and now on new path to complete some more. Always stay focused it can be exhausting at times but you must stay the course. Therapeutic Touch is my dream and I plan on being on the road for as long as I can keep people beautiful!
