DG fitness is a community-based intervention aimed to reduce obesity utilizing a broad array of strategies such as education, behavior modification through team motivation and support. Our aim is to change the sedentary lifestyle led by most Bruneians and promote a healthy lifestyle. Implementing a combination of the most effective form of exercise and proper nutritional knowledge will help you to achieve a realistic PERSONAL GOAL and assist you on how to MAINTAIN the progress in the recommended 12 weeks.
We don’t advocate the use of any artificial ways of weight loss like slimming pills or meal replacement. As we aim to help you recondition your metabolism to be efficient in burning food to produce energy instead of being stored as fats. To teach you a way of life that is sustainable beyond the scope of the program.
This program is led by a team of trainers specializing in different aspects of fitness. We create a fun and supportive environment for everyone who wishes to join. Our friendly trainers and existing members are all ready and willing to help you go through your journey to achieving your GOAL maintaining it.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
EVERYONE. We cater for all levels of fitness, age and ability that is focused on the individual PERSONAL GOAL. Which maybe, weight loss, body conditioning, Increase ability, stamina and endurance or just maintenance. In other words this program serves as a booster to you starting a new HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.
We do however ask that you be committed to the training times and meal plans in order to achieve the desired results…

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE?
This program incorporates a wide range of circuit training at multiple locations, insanity and strength training. This will give you a total body workout and eliminate the issue of stagnation which has been known to hinder progress.
Research shows that the most efficient way to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight is a combination of both cardio and strength training. In addition it’s a well-known fact that fitness is 70% diet and 30% training. Thus this program will also aim to educate participants what is meant by “HEALTHY DIET”, portion control, calories, BMR and metabolic reconditioning.
Motivation and support is also a vital component to succeeding in achieving the individual goals. The team provides a daily immediate nutritional feedback on meals. Everyone is supportive of each other. Trainers and participants motivate each other and not PUSH you beyond what you are capable. The correct forms are taught and if you are not able to carry out a certain exercise alternative ways will be shown.

TEAM TRAINING
Held 3 times a week. The type of exercise we implement the calories burnt is 10 minute session is equivalent to a 30 minute slow jog. In each training session approximately 700-1200 kcal are burnt.
STRENGTH TRAINING (gym)
It is a medical fact that muscles burn more calories and that the more muscle mass you have the easier it is to lose weight and also give you a higher Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).
WILL I BULK UP?
NO. There are different types of strength training and again our emphasis is on YOUR GOAL and the sessions will be modified accordingly.
HEALTHY DIET & NUTRITIONAL MONITORING
A basic meal plan is given to the participants and daily feedback and monitoring is given instantly via whatSapp. Participants will be taught on what type of foods can be eaten and when. A DIET does not mean NOT eating. You eat real un-processed food and portions that are appropriate to you. There is no starving in this program. We recommend at least 5 meals a day.
