First group has had a strong history in Brunei.

The first ever supermarket and departmental store to open in Brunei Darussalam was established in 1976, hence its name First Emporium & Supermarket. The later establishment continued to carry the "First" Brand and consequently First Group was formed.

Today as always, First Group- Brunei's first supermarket and departmental store-continues a legacy born of history.
