We are the largest research project of the Bolivian Catholic University "San Pablo". At CReA - UCB we contribute to increase community resilience in rural and peri-urban areas in Cochabamba, La Paz, Santa Cruz and Tarija. We support the generation of knowledge and practical tools, creating sustainable and inclusive solutions thanks to an innovative model of community-based transdisciplinary research. We work in Transdisciplinary Learning Communities that are dynamic and interactive spaces, composed of academics, leaders and members of the community and civil society organizations, where disciplinary boundaries merge, meet and generate new knowledge that benefits the quality of life of the communities. We conduct research in 5 thematic areas (subprojects): - Social inclusion in rural and peri-urban communities - Integral water management - Food sovereignty and innovation in nutrition - Rights of indigenous peoples and conflict resolution - Productive and entrepreneurial development In addition to a transversal subproject that has the components of: - Gender - Communication - Library We believe in research as an engine of change to improve the quality of life of Bolivians.
