About The Fuller Center For Housing - Bolivia

Our funders Millard y Linda Fuller, in 1976, started their work against all sub-standard living, improving the lives of more than 8 million people worldwide. In 2005 they decided to found The Fuller Center for Housing in Americus, Georgia, with the faith and Christian values they've held when started their mission many years ago. Now, we are in more than 16 communities in the United States and 20 countries around the world. The Fuller Center for Housing Bolivia is a strategic alliance regulated and based in the Plurinational State of Bolivia, we help to eliminate poverty in our country. We work with the most vulnerable communities and families in need that otherwise couldn't have access to a safe place to call home.We believe in a society built around love and care for each other, no matter race, background, or religion. This is why ''Global Builders,'' our volunteer program, was and always would be our core principle to spread our message and help us fulfill our purpose. We started our work in 2015, embracing a project where we delivered 60 houses in partnership with New Story Charity. The project called ‘'adios Chagas" located in the one of the most vulnerable communities in the country; Mizque, Cochabamba. Our goal was to end a long cycle of poverty and health crisis due to a disease caused by the ‘'kissing bug'' living in the adobe houses. We changed the lives of at least 350 Bolivians, including men, women and children, bringing dignity for these families. In September of 2015 another social housing project in Ventilla, El Alto was started. Our goal was not just to build houses for people in need, we also provide stability for the family and a capital for them to use to plan their future; an unrealistic dream for many Bolivians but a reality for 54 Bolivian families, right now we work to grow this number and reach more families in need.
