Island Time Vacation Rentals is a family business, owned and operated by Rob van den Berge and Lolymar Sanchez, longtime Bonaire residents. Together with Kristen and their extended team, they love to share this wonderful island with visitors and take care of everything during your trip.

Lolymar was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela and has been enjoying Island Time for 20 years! She loves to make people feel at home wherever they are, and shows this in her work, making guests feel comfortable and spreading wellness with fun yoga events, private and group classes.

Her husband Rob is from The Hague and lived in Curacao before moving to Bonaire. Rob made the jump from the restaurant hospitality business to find a new challenge, entering the world of property management with a focus on development. His love of island nature is why he strives to find balance between building development and preservation. Together they enjoy spending time with their 2 beautiful daughters soaking up the good island vibes.

Kristen was born in beautiful Northern Ireland. After studying literature in Scotland, graduating in 2010, she escaped the rain and ran to the sun of Mexico where she worked as a E(nglish) S(econd) L(anguage) teacher in Los Mochis. Now she happily lives in Bonaire managing Island Time vacation rentals. The supporting the team are Cheppie, our passionate gardener, Roy, dealing with utility matters, Jermaine solving any maintenance issues and Saida keeping our villas sparkling clean.
