About Us:
The Saba Health Care Foundation is the health care organization for the island Saba in the Dutch Caribbean.
The SHCF is located at the A.M. Edwards Medical Center in The Bottom, a health center where care is provided by two island physicians.

Patient visiting hours policy:
Everyday from 11:00am to 1:00pm & 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Together with the rest of the SHCF team, we provide regular Family Medicine care including preventive care, minor surgical and gynaecological procedures, X-Ray and Ultrasounds, deliveries and Home Health Care and Well Baby Clinic. We have the ability to admit patients short term for observation, treat for instance diabetes or infections. We treat fractures and other trauma and emergency patients; severe trauma or disease is stabilized and emergency transportation to St. Maarten is arranged,

The Medical Center has a laboratory, a physiotherapist and a visiting dentist.

There are several visiting specialists and paramedics who run a clinic in the AM Edwards Medical Center, including a Cardiologist, Dermatologist, Gynaecologist, Neurologist, Occupational Health Doctor, Orthopedist, Psychiatrist, Dentist, Orthodontist, Social Worker and Dietitian.

Vision / Mission:
Everyone on Saba is entitled to the maximum of feasible care. The team of SHCF works trans-mural, in conjunction with paramedics and visiting specialists creating a professional and optimal care for the sick, with eye for prevention.

The Medical Center has two ambitions:
