Hotel rooms are extra small and everything is old, worn out.
But all this would be ok if AC wouldn't be so loud and if windows would block noise from outside.
Staff is friendly, location is great, breakfast is ok,... only rooms are 2* max "

" The location is perfect, facing Copacabana Beach. Great breakfast and service staff. However, the rooms are small and lack maintenance. Bathrooms with an appalling condition, walls need painting, internet connection kept breaking up, TV image is terrible and room cleaning was minimal, lacking even toilet rolls. Not exactly a pleasing experience, although it was very cheap. "

" The hotel's location is very good, right by Copacabana's beach. Unfortunately the rooms are small, with old fixtures and very bad internet connection. The corridors are carpeted and smell of mould. The elevators are small and crowded, and the stairways down are terrible! The hotel is going through a renovation, which will be good but for now just means lots of noise during the day.
If you're at Rio just for touristing and will use the room only at night for sleeping, you'll be al right. Otherwise, there are better choices in the neighborhood. "
