Established in 2005, Vajra has executed some of the largest construction projects in Bhutan including construction of Six Senses Resort in Thimphu and JSW Law School in Paro. Over the years, it has invested heavily on the implementation of occupational health and safety in construction, becoming the first construction company in the country to get certified by the erstwhile Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, Royal Government of Bhutan in 2019. In April 2023, Vajra became the first construction company in Bhutan to get ISO-certified for meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
