" This place is beautiful and luxurious. A little outside of San Ignacio but well worth it. Staff was great. Whether you do tours with them or outside companies they make sure you're prepared each day going out. Would definitely stay here again "

" We don’t feel safe here!!! Our accommodations were completely unsecured, absolutely terrible Service. Upon our return to our private villa from dinner service on the property(which took over an hour) our villa was unlocked and the door was hanging wide open. How can someone feel safe with the door to their accommodations hanging wide open and housekeeping’s keys in the lock, with house keeping nowhere to be found. Managements response was, “we can comp your dinner” "

" I honestly don’t know where to begin as everything about Ka’ana from the customer service from the staff to how beautiful the resort was, was just AMAZING! I will start with when I first booked the resort for our Honeymoon and came in contact with Mark Flowers, from the beginning he was so helpful with going over all the available excursions with me and checking to see if I had any dietary restrictions so that they could plan for my arrival. He showed amazing customer service and when you think that it couldn’t get any better… it does. Jason he is ABSOLUTELY the best!! When my husband and I arrived to the resort for our honeymoon in July he knew exactly who we were and knew everything about us… he did his homework and we LOVED it! He was so sweet he had gotten some of our wedding photos from our sneak peek pictures and made us the cutest welcome letter! Make sure when you visit to do some of the amazing excursions they have to offer so that you can see how beautiful it is in Belize. We did the Mayan Ruins, Horseback riding, Cave tubing, chocolate making and the Mayan cooking class (which I’ll get more into later) just to name a few and they were all AMAZING. Our tour guides were Andy and Brandon and they were by far the BEST we truly enjoyed them and they went above and beyond but with Ka’ana I wouldn’t expect anything different. On my last night there I suffered from a heat stroke (found this out once I got back home and went to Dr) during our Mayan cooking course (which was totally my fault for not hydrating myself properly that day after a massage) however I wanted to mention this because the performance from the staff again was exceptional. They took care of me and made sure that I was well taken care of and Jason even drove to town to buy me Gatorades AND got me ice-cream from the best ice-cream place in town! That’s not the end of it due to me having my little episode my husband and I didn’t really get to eat and missed the BBQ night they had put on as well. When my husband went down to get something additional to eat all the food was gone but they fired the grill back up and cooked the works for us!! You won’t get this kind of service from anywhere so if you’re looking to stay here look no further this is truly top notch and as good as it gets. I want to thank Wolfgang, Amin, Elito, Miguel, Candy, Silvia, Julianie and Danielle for being so AWESOME and making sure Dewayne and I were taken care of every step of the way. If I forgot to mention anyone that we came in contact with I am truly sorry as you all were the BEST!! My husband and I loved this place so much that we tried to book to come back for December as soon as we got back home but they are completely booked which shows you that we aren’t the only ones that knows how amazing this place in. It took me a while to post a review due to other sites limiting how long the review could be and I just couldn't shorten my review. Thank you all again and we hope to see you soon!! " Aside from it's luxury and beauty, the staff is probably the best staff I've ever encountered an any hotel or resort I've ever stayed at. They were extremely attentive and were always available. In fact, my wife sustained a minor injury while on an excursion, and we realized that she might need a few stitches. Jason, one of the managers, drove us to the local private hospital, stayed with us while she received her stitches, and then drove us back to the resort. This could have been a potentially stressful situation for us if Jason were not with us to help. We were incredibly grateful.
We came to Ka'ana for the beauty of the resort, we will come back because of the people. "

" Great hotel, super friendly staff.
The rooms were spacious and nice, we had a great view on the swimming pool and a good size balcony with hammock.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere with fire pits and lights hanging from the trees. The food is good and the menu offer a wide variety of dishes.
The swimming pool is secluded in the middle of the palms tree, precious! "

" From the welcome drink upon arrival to my departure a few days later (and all too soon), my entire stay at Ka'ana was outstanding. Though I’m back from my whirlwind Belize trip, I’m still reliving my experience and each excursion via stories to friends and family and by scanning through my pictures. I owe this amazing experience to the Ka’ana staff, who take hospitality to a new level. As an example, I was greeted by a handwritten (!) note from the GM which set the tone for the rest of the trip. And each evening after turndown, I received a very helpful checklist that prepared me for each adventure ahead, in addition to a sweet treat that surpasses the typical turndown pillow chocolate.
This level of hospitality also goes for our tour guides who made the excursions interesting, educational and easily some of my top experiences to date. Our outing to the ATM caves was by far the coolest thing I’ve ever done and I highly suggest going there early to be the first ones there. My excursion to Xunantanich was a close second, the breeze and views all the way to Guatemala made the walk to the top totally worth it. I was very impressed by the diverse offerings for adventure all in close proximity to Ka’ana, I still have so much to experience though I will be back. And when I do, I know I will be welcomed by the friendly staff who go above and beyond for each guest. Overall, it was a treat and pleasure to stay at Ka’ana! "
