Your friendly Belize shore excursion staff will meet you right outside your Belize cruise tender terminal. They will get you checked in and lead you to your air-conditioned transportation. You will get to see many of the sites of Belize City as you pass through on the way to the tropical jungle zip line excursion base camp.

When you arrive, you will receive your canopy zip line instruction briefing and safety information while you gear up - harness, helmet and gloves. Your zip line cruise excursion guides are certified and highly trained to assure a safe time. Double steel cable lines are used and the zipline facitliy is fully insured and is also certified by the Association of the Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). This is a safe and fun shore excursion for the entire family!

Your zip line starting point is just a short walk from the excursion base camp. The first canopy zipline run is a warm-up so you can get a feel of what to do and expect. The concept of zip lining is simple: one guide hooks your harness onto the steel cable lines (2 lines for exceeding safety requirements) and gravity takes you across to the next canopy platform. The second excursion guide will receive you at the platform and unhook you from the line to get ready for the next zip flight!

To get to the first platform, you will go up some steps carved into the local limestone. Get ready! The six zip lines range in length from 500 to 1,000 ft. Travel with ease over the local Belize vegetation and enjoy the views of the jungle. You might keep an eye out for some of the native birds and howler monkeys that live in this rainforest.

Once back at the zip-line excursion base camp, you will be offered a tasty complimentary traditional Belize lunch including chicken, rice and beans, potato salad and a bottled water before heading back towards Belize City for the second half of your Belize cruise shore excursion adventure.

Cucumber Beach is a man-made salt-water pool-park located right on the Caribbean beach. Although guests may not access the ocean there, Cucumber offers a lot to do! Kick back under a shaded palapa on a lounge chair, stroll along the water, or maybe enjoy the water floating in an inner tube. You might get up the nerve to try the 75-foot water slide known as the Slippery Conch. Or maybe check out the rope swing or water trampoline. All of this is included in this Belize Zip Line and Beach Shore Excursion. There is also an on-site restaurant to enjoy snacks and beverages. Restrooms and a rinse off showers are available on site as well. Guests will have approximately 2 hours at Cucumber man-made beach water park.

At the end of this Belize cruise excursion, the transportation will take you to the cruise ship tender terminal which is just about a 10-minute ride away.
