The National Olympic Committee undertook a strategic planning session and coordinated some National Associations to align themselves in formulating strategic plans for their Associations. Where the visions of the NOC and the NA/NFs cross, we believe success will be national with evidence in successful participation and progressive results in international events.

Belize Fencing Federation is a newly formed association of approximately 9 years. The organization has been building from the ground up and taking baby steps to arrive at a place where the Federation is beginning to take form. A very basic awareness program has been carried out so far but there is so much more on the horizon.

From this embryonic stage, this strategic plan promises to bring growth, development and medalists!

We have set as our over-arching goal that we will create highly competitive medalists in the Central American and the Central American & Caribbean Games. These Games will take place in 2017 and 2018, a time that is right upon us, a feat that is not realistic in this quadrennial. However, Belize Fencing Federation projects this goal into the next quadrennial as we build on the foundations laid in this quadrennial.
We believe this is achievable through the following three pillars:
Good Governance and Management,
Sport Development and
High Performance
