Yo-ho-Rojo! Coming into our 12th season, Rojo Beach Bar is still the casual kind of place a beach bar ought to be. BUT, this year, we have expanded the bar and have a new swimming dock with AMAZING snorkeling! We proudly represent Belize’s award winning Tiburon rum and Traveller’s Don Omario Royal and 5 Barrell, on tap, in their gorgeously displayed rum barrels! And, we have created a sushi kitchen for Saturdays!

Food is ordered AT THE BEACH BAR if you are seated on the sand or with a runner outside the bar if you wave one down (there are NO waitstaff). The reason for this is to under promise and over deliver! Our staff is small, and we are not a super crowded place (better for you!) So on a regular day, we always have a bartender or runner there to serve you if you are not sitting at the bar. On a busy day, we might not have enough staff to get to all our tables as the beach and lounge are expansive to provide you the perfect beach experience.

Dishes are served family style, one or two at a time, with the idea that they’re going to be shared over frosty drinks and lively conversation. There are no “appetizers” or “mains” per se, just tasty food. The kitchen will do our best to send out food in the order that makes sense. Our staff is small and everything is made from scratch. Sometimes this translates into a bit of a wait. If you are waiting for food, we suggest you enjoy a cocktail. If you are waiting for a cocktail, we suggest you relax and gaze to the East, as views do not get much better! If it’s raining to the East... oh well. Enjoy yourself, play a game of pool, cards, darts, or beer pong, relax and be sure to pet the animals!
