Career Closet is a sharing initiative, born out of the identified gap in the availability of work ready clothing and accessories. The idea was conceived by Krista Steeves of the Global & Community Services Department of the YMCA of Fredericton (that's a mouthful isn't it?). Career Closet has grown by leaps and bounds in a very short time and is now more of a Community Closet if you will...a closet for all of the different communities in our great city of Fredericton to use. We provide the opportunity for people to FREE shop for whatever they may need, that we may have at the time! Our hope is that people will use the Closet and whenever they have the opportunity, donate back to use for others to use. Career Closet accepts donations of any and all gently used, clean clothing (baby, children, work wear, trades clothing, casual attire, etc) as well as toys, and baby & household items. We are located in The Cultural Centre on the Exhibition Grounds. Drop by and see us soon!
