Rev3 St. Andrews

One of the best races in North America is set on a course in the idyllic Maritime Province of New Brunswick, Canada. Opportunities abound for athletes and their families in the historic Seaside community of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea.

One of Canada’s most charming historic communities, St. Andrews is situated on the World Famous Bay of Fundy shared by the Canadian Provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and the U.S. State of Maine. Rev3 St. Andrews will be a Half – Distance event that starts and finishes at the beautiful Algonquin Resort in historic St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. Our race weekend also includes our expo, the Rev3 St. Andrews Sprint Distance Triathlon and the running races as well as the Kids splash and dash.

Our swim takes place in picturesque “Katy’s Cove” which is controlled by a causeway that allows the cold Bay of Fundy water to warm up to a comfortable 22-degree average in July. This swim course is spectacular, with lake-like conditions in a salt-water swim.

Athletes will then run up the hill to the Algonquin Resort and depart on their bikes again offering beautiful views of the Bay of Fundy and St. Croix River. Cyclists will pass by St. Croix Island where the explorer Samuel de Champlain set up camp upon discovering the region over 400 years ago.

Returning to St. Andrews and the Algonquin Resort, runners will be guaranteed to talk about our run course long after they finish. It is truly one of the most spectacular run courses in the sport. Runners will have views of several islands in Passamaquoddy Bay and then run through the heart of this historic community along the St. Andrews downtown waterfront. Along the way, runners will also pass by one of the most picturesque gardens in the World; our Title sponsor, the Award winning Kingsbrae Garden, which will play host to many activities race week. Last, but not least, athletes will run through the Algonquin Golf course set entirely along the water. We have included the often-photographed 12th tee as part of our run course, another unique experience.

The week will be full of opportunities for all family members and will conclude with our Maritime “Kitchen Party” Banquet and Awards ceremony on Sunday evening. This event will feature the best that the award winning Algonquin Resort has to offer and will also feature live music, dancing and of course, awards.
