" Great vegan friendly options on their menu, quick service, and a great little pub/cafe for a bite to eat. "

" Ordered a sweet potato quesadilla.. asked to eat in but had to get take out to make my bus that was coming 75 minutes later.. waited almost an hour for my food with no apology (watched people who came in after me get served first), food is usually good but pricey... wasn't very happy with the service. Left a smaller tip because of the dissatisfaction. There are better places to visit for lunch and Planet Bean across the street has better non-alcoholic drinks. Was recommending this place to friends but won't be after this visit. "

" I brought my friend who is vegetarian, and her daughter who just started UofG - the food was excellent, full of flavour. The interior is rustic and lovely. The service - fun, attentive and fantastic. This food is delicious, and you discover that you don't need meat to make a meal. "

" Since discovering this place I have never been disappointed. Favorite is the Pinto Mushroom Avocado Enchilada - Red Spicy Sauce. "

" One of the best vegetarian restaurants in town (if not the best)! Love the food so much, as well as the location. Great for sitting to read a book and listen to some good tunes. Try the Chickpea Walnut Wrap, or the Scrambled Tofu breakfast, orrrr the Marinated Tofu Wrap, ORRRR the Pad Thai. God damn, it's all so good :D "

" Amazing little gem. I stopped in to meet my Niece who had heard from a friend it was a great spot. Wow, talk about impressive. A very rustic and delicious menu that doesn't overwhelm you with choices. Vegetarian Fare with passion. I had the Pad Thai and was suitably impressed. The staff was superb. I highly recommend the Cornerstone for any taste palate even if you are not vegetarian. Believe me, once you start into your meal you won't even notice there isn't meat. Mainly because it's packed with flavour! "

" The Cornerstone is one of my favourite locations to visit in Guelph!
When you walk in the cozy restaurant is always warm and the air is thick with steam from the open kitchen which patrons have full view of.
There are many tucked away corners that you can sit at and have intimate conversations as well as larger tables where you can play board games and get whatever beer is on tap.
The selection of tea is amazing- 18 different varieties with compliment the assortment of baked goods (they often have gluten free and vegan/vegetarian varieties). Try the vegan cheesecake!
The menu is varied and again has gluten free and vegan/vegetarian options. The only downside is that this place is busy on weekends as soon as it opens and evenings so the wait for food is much longer than I would expect (I have waited over an hour on multiple occasions). The prices are also a little bit expensive (tea and dessert will run you over $20).
The Cornerstone is wheelchair accessible. Definitely visit if you are looking for something unique and delicious! "
