" I almost didn't go to this store today after reading all the negative reviews. It used to be my sewing 'local' when I lived in that part of the city and I couldn't believe it could have changed so much. so decided to see for myself. As it turned out, it hasn't changed at all - it's just as good as it ever was.
I don't know why anyone would complain about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at this store. Not only did I get all the help and useful advice I needed as to the suitability of materials, the lady who served me did all my rather complicated math calculations for me in her head at great speed and with absolute accuracy. We had a few laughs and another member of staff joined in - it all became rather jolly and I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this Fabricland today. Maybe the fault lies with some customers rather than with the staff. "
