" OK sooooooo... I feel the need to edit my original review .. we used to go to this restaurant weekly..
Lately as some of the others reviews stated its super slow service.. now they have always been polite .. never rude .. just slow..
The owner however super friendly the first few times then makes you feel you are annoying him .. lots of faces and eyerolls ...
And also as stated half the order doesnt come to the table.. we started to take a picture of our order as we were told multiple times .. we didn't order something.. or we did order something and hadnt ☹
Today we showed up for lunch a little late but still 15 mins before 3.. and we always order once.. but we were told they would not honour the lunch and to wait 15 mins and have dinner .. now I understand everyone has rules but if lunch finishes at 2:45.. then it should state 2:45 and not 3 .. we explained this and they agreed but now we won't return .. it's just another issue to add to the ongoing issues .
Time to find a new favourite sushi restaurant ☹

" I would leave zero stars if I could. I had an absolutely awful meal here tonight. I have been a few times and the service is never good; always very slow no matter how quiet the restaurant is and my order is always confused. Tonight I was already dealing with these problems but on top of that I also saw a MOUSE run across the floor of the restaurant. I cannot believe what I saw and I am completely disgusted. Will never be eating here again. "

" Not bad. The portions for the miso soup and seaweed salad are good. The rolls without fish are well made. California/ tempura yam. The rolls with fish tend to be more rice/ panko than the actual fish. Besides this the atmosphere is very quiet, no music. Also you might have to ask for more wasabi/ ginger but no surprise here as most other sushi restaurants hold back as well. Give it a try if you’re downtown and craving sushi. "

" Go to W Sushi instead. We tried this place with a group since we were at an event downtown and it was closer. Some of the sushi was good, others were not and we had to take turns eating the bad ones. The ordering system was confusing and we ended up ordering too much sometimes. Service was not great. Payment was extremely slow and we had an event to get to afterward. We won't be back to this place. "

" Clean, friendly service. Nice fresh food. Tasted great and nicely presented. Large portions and nice value for cost (which was on the low side)
I ate here 3 times during my stay in Guelph.

" By far the worst sushi and service I have ever had.
We were a table of 4 and the first to arrive for the all you can eat lunch. We waited so long for our food to come that we sat there for a total of two hours and when I left I was still hungry. For four people our order was relatively small and we still had to wait a long time to receive any food, and when it started to come it was slow between dishes. We sat and waited for our items and watched other tables receive large orders they placed after we had ordered. Many items we ordered were never brought to the table, even after being reordered. We waited so long for items that after two hours we were still hungry. Even after telling the server that we had been there for so long, didn't receive many items we ordered, and were still hungry, he insisted we pay the full all you can eat price. "

" We're a regular here, it's our go to sushi place. The first few times were good, there weren't any problems. The service has been really terrible lately, they won't take your order sheet until 20 minutes after it is written. And when they do, you will one receive only a third of your order. They are very disorganized and don't seem like they care about their jobs. Would not recommend. "
