Resturant itself is a little bit dark inside, but is warm and the staff is very friendly and helpful! "

" Restaurant was almost empty. It took over 25 minutes for just sushi. It is common for servers to come back and ask if everything it's ok..not here....food was good, excellent presentation. We paid cash....they claimed there was no change...i refused to leave a 40 % tip on such lousy service. Gave 5 dollars in small change. Never going back! "

" Was looking for a sushi spot late night and found Gojima.
Sat at the sushi bar and had the sushi master surprise us with anything he wanted. We were blown away with the quality of the Sashimi.
We have found our new favourite Sushi spot in town.
Don't forget to get the chocolate drizzled cantaloupe for dessert.
Came back 3 weeks after original review and were blown away again. The service and quality of the food is incredible. "

" Ordered the Tonkatsu lunch takeout. There was a significant amount of food, though there was an oddball in the meal (the steak-seasoning spiced veggies). Along with that was a somewhat soggy salad with Japanese-style dressing, a nice wakame, rice and the tonkatsu.
The tonkatsu was OK, but a bit dry and doused in a spicy sauce.
Overall, I would have preferred to eat there as it did look to have a good atmosphere and the food coming out looked pretty good. Perhaps takeaway was just a bad choice, as it didn't leave the best impression, which is why I didn't drop it to two stars. "

" My favourite Sushi and Sashimi place to eat in the world. I'm so glad to be back. I spent so many beautiful nights eating here with my amazing wife. I learned so much about Japanese and Korean cuisine from the wonderful people here. Gojima is truly my measuring stick on how good a Sushi restaurant can be.
