Hello friends & family , On September 29, I will lead a 10k walk for mental health. This is my third year walking for this cause. In 2015 and 2017 I walked for the defeat depression campaign, an initiative of the Mood Disorder Society of Canada. This year I walk for my own nonprofit organization, NuMode Counseling and Wellness Centre.
During my internship for my Master's degree in Christian counseling, I was more convinced of where I was called and I needed to help becau...se most of my clients were persons who could not afford to pay for the service but were in dire need of it.
I walk to raise funds to secure a suitable space to welcome these individuals who are in great need to be better. A center to deal with the issues of marriage & family and mental health. A safe and secure environment where Christian Spirituality and sound counseling techniques will serve to transform the lives of individuals who will be able to walk in freedom and find joy and purpose for their lives. Please consider making a pledge to this cause . You don't have to pay today, a pledge to help is enough as we close collections on October 31, 2018. Thanks for your consideration. Oct. 28, 2017, a small group of individuals gathered together for a 10K walk for the Defeat Depression 2017 campaign. This was the second year we walked for this campaign. On September 29, 2018, NuMode Counselling & Wellness Centre will take on 10K for $ 10K, A walk for Mental Health. NumodeCWC is a non-profit organization established to provide effective counselling services to individuals who are experiencing mental disorders and other life challenges without adequate financial support to obtain treatment.
