" Solid experience at the Peartree restaurant. Truth be told, we were ready to eat after a night of partying. This place was way better than a greasy spoon and we were glad to have had their brunch in our tummies.
The star attraction of their brunch menu is the offerings of eggs benedict or benjamins. It's hearty, tasty, and also filling.
The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. The restaurant feels comfy for brunch and it was quiet because we were one of the first people through the door.
This seems like a good neighbourhood spot to come back to. "

" Love the breakfast here, service very nice and you can asking for more. Big amount of food and many options in breakfast menu. Cozy place and comfortable to hangout with friends or family for nice weekend breakfast. Love their coffee that smooth you wake up in the morning. Just love it. "

" Great food and relaxing atmosphere. Would be nice if they could space their guests out a bit (during my visit, the restaurant was almost empty, with lots of seats available), especially if one group consists of a loud company of friends, and another is just a party of one.
Also, feels a bit understaffed (aka even when I was paying for my meal with the card, I would have to wait 3-5 mins for waiter to pick up the machine), especially if you dine 2 or 3 hours before closing (at least that was my experience) "

" I really want to like this place but I've tried it twice and both times the food was just so plain. Breakfast is hands down the easiest meal to make good, if it's "meh" there's something really wrong in the kitchen. BUT the staff were great both times, I'll give them that. "

" I'm not a big fan of giving internet reviews, but this one deserved it.
There were several issues with the food. For one, there was no flavour to speak of. Salt seems to be an ingredient that is used sparingly (and I'm being generous). Condiments were a must. Secondly, the food was moist...too moist. I had it delivered, and gave it some leeway for sitting in a steamed container. That being said, the food was still far too soggy. And finally we come to the portion sizes and prices. The burgers were small, the fry potions were too small and the toppings were almost as bad (I had literally two small leafs of lettuice). The prices were high for relatively small portions. Needless to say we wont be ordering from here again.
Advice: Please use a bit more salt when cooking, especially on the fries. "

Not pretentious or overly trendy, yet comfortable and cozy.
Great homemade burger and the fries are hand cut.
I heard the cook whistling while he worked...which shows he's happy and likes his job.
Good deserts and service.
