" Went to the bistro after the Lighthouse theatre which is next store..the decor was lovely and the staff were very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was great as we had three young children and the others customers were okay with the noise. As for the food it too was very accommodating too both children and adults. It was quick and delicious. Nice portion size. Look forward to going there for dinner and a nice glass of wine. "

" As a Port Dover resident, I do my best to support local businesses, but for Scholfields I will make an exception. I ordered a Cesare salad and the "rack" of lamb. Before I ordered I asked if the salad dressing was house made or bottled and was told it was made in house. After one bite it was clear that it was from a bottle. If I wanted that, I could have stayed home. The $32.00 "rack" of lamb consisted of four microspcoic lamb chops. When I voiced my discontent to the waitress she ignored me. When she came back I said I wanted her to tell the owner I was unhappy, she said he was in the kitchen and she would. When she came back she told me that in the future they were going to seek out a new supplier of lamb so they could offer bigger portions. That's great for people that eat there in the future, for me it was the worst $186.00 I've ever spent in a restaurant. Bottom line, there are better restaurants in Port Dover, restaurants that will actual address your concerns. "
