" It is an okay airport. When we were leaving back to Toronto, our flight was delayed and the custom area was the worst. We had to empty our back packs and since it was such a rush, there was evening pushing. The food is expensive and we had to survive at the airport for at least 3 hours. If you are coming to this airport make sure you have extra money or else you will not be able to survive. Another thing is when the plane arrived it took about 1 hour to let us in the plane and another 30 minutes to leave. "

" It's a small airport serving the central part of Eastern Cuba. If you attempt to compare it to European or US airports You'll find it coming up short. However it does the job and supports several flights a day to the US and even direct flights to the UK and beyond. "

" One word "Brutal". Our arrival and departure were like scenes from a horror movie. There wasn't enough security personnel and no real organization once you made it through customs. With three flights organized at the same time; the airport couldn't keep up. Sadly, our vacation ended and started poorly due to the inefficiencies of their system. We loved our resort, however I would never go back to Holguin! "
