" Wonderful beach in Cuba, I preferred it to the Cayos (Cayo Guillermo). Hotel is OK, maybe quite expensive but the only one on the small island. Water is expensive: bring water bottles if you stay more days. After 5pm, when the "day tourists" go back, it is a real paradise. When we stayed (4days) it was really windy, day and night. Two restaurants, the small one has to be reserved before but is really nice, usually with live music (salsa). Service is Cuban average, don't expect European standards. "

" First off, the hotel is quite poor. The food isn't great and some of the cabins are bad shape. What makes up for this in spades is the location. Two kilometers of quiet, unspoiled tropical beach with the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico just a stone's throw from your cabin door.
If you are looking for a peaceful break away from the world and not fussy about your creature comforts then I would highly recommend Cayo Levisa. "
