" The single most shambolic and unprofessional company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Like other complainants we had great trouble in the Meet and Greet stage. After 2 hours ,post flight and many calls, we spotted a minibus with KEM on the side loading up soime punters. Most likely still be stood there if the wife hadn't seen them 50 ,yards away from terminal. Then taken to small compound ,and waited another 40 mins to be seen. Then another 20 mins waiting for car to be returned from CarWash!. Landed 9.30pm Drove away 00.30am next day.
This first care turned out to be a dud, the front wing was cable tied on and promptly hung like a spaniels ,ear after only a couple of days. Thgeyn reluctantly, and with much grumbling swapped this for another suspect car. This time, the battery cover was flailing around inside the radiator grill and catching on the wheels. This time they ignored our complaints and we had the dangerous detritis removed by a local garage.
Our ,vehicle return was a farce too. Over an hour we waited for girl to get round to dropping us off at airport. We were running so late, she drove at double the speed limits with her knees whilst tailgaiting everyone and arguing with another customer on her MOBILE. Still having trouble getting the stains out of our pants.
After returning home last week, the 60 euro fuel refund is yet to materialse. Not holding our breath.

" At the KEM office in Paphos, when seeing that my car was a Mazda Demio, I requested to be given the correct sized car, since I booked a Kia Ceed or similar. The woman told me she is sorry, but did not have other cars, and if I could wait until the afternoon, she can give me a bigger car. We couldn't wait, so we decided to go to Larnaca and see if we can exchange there. At the Larnaca airport office, the girl at the counter told us that Mazda Demio is in the same class as Kia Ceed (according to KEM's standards), so we let it go. This girl's attitude was rude, saying that "it's a very busy time, you're lucky to have found a car in the first place" - which, of course, is weird, since I had booked the car a month in advance. "

" Car was cheap indeed but costumer service appalling. I was collected from the airport on a van which had seat belts missing. It was also late. The lady booked me in and left the base (to collect more people, I suppose). After I had readied the kids and the bags I only then noted I given an automatic car when I had booked a manual one. I deiced to go with it as it was too much trouble to wait for them to come back (?). The air con wasn't working and the next day I found out the lighter wasn't working either, which I needed to use the iphone Waze. Called the office and explained, the person told me to go back and they would give me another car. So did I and once back a rude attender said they had no car to give me, despite a patio with 20 plus cars : all cars were broken or all lighters were broken. I asked why the person on the phone told me to go if there was no car to exchange, she blamed a central office who does not know what is going on there. Called the central office again, they now told me the car they were going to give me instead had been involved in an accident and all the passengers, including kids, were in the hospital. Yes, you read right : between my call and the 15 minutes drive to the base the car I was going to be given in exchange had been involved in an accident which they didn't know.
Anyway, didn't manage to get another car and had to but an external battery to re-charge the phone, what costed me 50% of the car rental cost.
later during the check out I noted sticker notes on my car's paperwork saying the car MOT was late and should not be given to another costumer before it was done.
Will not use again if going back to Cyprus and will not recommend to anyone. "

" Hello everyone, i would like to share my experience with "KEM rental cars" company which work in non appropriate way at all by my own opinion. What really happened is a small damage (hit) to a car by breaking just the glass of the back light of a car not even the lamp and some small details around the light area so that the company charged us 500 euros for that. " Car was ok (although plenty of scratches at the end of season) and checkout super fast. Only issue was the pick up at the airport (we rented it at Paphos airport) which could have been better described, although after a quick phone call everything went smoothly. "

" No one was expecting us at the airport so we had to make multiple calls in order to get picked up. Moreover, an unreasonably high amount of money is withheld as a deposit - 1300€. The car was in good condition and the checkout process was very fast. Two of the female employees were very helpful and polite, a male one was not "

" Called 9 times during working hours, they answered only 3 times.
No shuttle was waiting at the airport once I arrived.
Waited for about 40 mins for shuttle to arrive.
Got a car with no antenna, and NO LOCK on the driver's door (which of course they didn't tell me about and found out only after taking it).
Many warning lights turned on the next day, and other issues.
Probably the worst car rental company in the EU.

" I hired a car from this company in September 2016 through Atlas Choice and paid in full at the time. In December & January they took a further two payments from my credit card without my authorisation - I disputed this with my credit card company who refunded the money. They told me they would take it back from KEM and if there was no dispute within the next 31 days the matter would be closed, to date April 2017 there has not been a claim from KEM for this money taken. "

" Very fast and efficient, they don't try to make you buy an extra insurance as with other car rentals. I think they've changed their fuel politics and don't make you pay for a full tank, as previous clients complained about.
We had a nice car instead of the small one we ordered (automatic gear). 4 stars out of 5 because the AC didn't work. "
