T-Sense project is dedicated to promote scientific excellence by developing a novel optical fiber sensor (OFS) technology for monitoring the dose delivered to patients receiving radiation therapy used to cure prostate cancer. The main goal of the project is to advance the current state-of-the-art in optical fiber sensors by investigating and developing novel sensors capable for real-time, in-vivo radiation dose and hypoxia measurements in prostate cancer treatment. The Project EXCELLENCE/0918/0324 is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus through the Research and Innovation Foundation.
