" We stayed at the hotel for one night to visit the Nürnberg Weihnachtsmarkt the next day. The location is convenient since it is just off A6 and outside Nürnberg, although construction in the area causes traffic congestion during the day. I was warmly greeted when I walked in and check-in was quick. The manager recommended the restaurant in the building next door for dinner. The food was delicious and quite inexpensive, especially considering the quality and size of portions. The room was roomy enough and pleasantly decorated, although the floor could have been cleaner (thus 4 stars). The staff already converted the couch into a bed, which was appreciated. The breakfast had plenty of options, the coffee machine worked great (I had two latte machiattos), and the hours were long (0630-1030). The dining room is much larger than the breakfast rooms in US Holiday Inn Expresses, so it doesn't feel crowded and hectic even when busy. Overall, this hotel is one of the nicest, of many, HIEs we've stayed in and we'll probably stay here the next time we visit Nürnberg. "

" We wanted to stay overnight in Nürnberg. Decided to book this hotel and traveled the 20 min to Schwabach. Well worth it. Stayed with 2 kids and the pull out couch was already made and ready for the night. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was exceptional with everything you need. Loved the cappuccino machine and the freshness of everything offered. My only complaint and reason for a star deduction was the bed. The mattress was so firm it felt like sleeping on the ground. I never expirienced such a firm mattress. Even the sleeper couch was softer. Luckily for my back we only spent one night. "

" Not as recently refurbished as Uk or Us equivalents but friendly helpful staff and clean throughout. Breakfast was a let down though. Scrambled eggs was the only hot option (other than DIY toast) "

Really good selection for breakfast. There's a very nice restaurant/bakery in the building next-door that I recommend visiting.
