We ran out of money and we had only strictly small amount of money. Woman, owner of La Hacienda, refused to make a _small_ discount, despite the fact that she had no clients.
Man, owner of La Rancheta, made a small discount and shared his dinner with us (for free, of course). Sharing is caring :) "

" In May 2011 I stayed here with my girlfriend and we were very well received. Karen, the owner, is a truly lovely lady who knows everything there is to know about this part of the island. She took us on a horseback riding trip, which was a wonderful experience, even for my girlfriend who was scared to death of horses. But Karen matches everyone up with the right horse, so everyone can enjoy the trip. The rooms at the Hacienda are basic but clean, as is the communal kitchen and hang-out area. Although the house is quite remotely located, I recommend at least a few days at this ranch to enjoy the peaceful quietness and Karen's warm hospitality. "
