" This hotel is located in the city of Juan Dolio and not in Santo Domingo as it is indicated on the actual map. It takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the city of Santo Domingo from the hotel with the local bus on the boulevard nearby.
The hotel was okay, some rooms are newer/nicer than others. The food was not that great but there was a large selection and 3 good restaurants to try during the week. There are a few shops and restaurants outside of the hotel if you go right on the main road. "

" First time ever in Dominican Rep and I can say that I made an excellent selection by coming to "Coral Costa Caribe"... It's a great place. The room were great. The service was excellent and the food out of this world... too many choices!
The bars were great as well... but the most important thing is that the beach was just amazing. Most of the time it was totally empty early morning.
Great for long walks and very safe.
If I have the opportunity to come back again... I'll definitely stay here at "Coral Costa Caribe". "

" Let's start with the positive things: the beach. Compared to other beaches at that area, this one was the most beautiful one! It had clear sand and water and enough palm trees, they made sure to clean up every day. Really a plus point compared to the hotel and the rooms. Also mostly good: the themed restaurants. Especially the Mexican one, then comes Italian/Dominican. Buffet was okey, it's 3 stars, nothing great expected. The live cooking area was better than the buffet. The omelette and egg man was the only highlight every morning, he was awesome and very talented, how he did it was always like a little show. But the last 3 days I must have eaten something bad, I got big problems with my stomach and had to go on toilet every hour. Also they had a lot of times green tomatoes in the buffet, which I know is totally unhealthy and not recommended to eat. The service in the buffet area was really bad, once we had to order a beer 3 times and the woman we ordered at just kept walking like a snail and doing other stuff. The service in the restaurants is mostly really good. Like in 8 of 10 times. Sometimes you just catch a bad day or waiter. One big tip:
DON'T GET A SAFE KEY!!! WE PAID 40$ FOR 13 DAYS AND DIDN'T GET THE MONEY BACK! No-one told us that. A little upset about that. The beach sellers are annoying but always friendly, you get used to it. Just don't start a convo, say no thank you directly and they will leave afterwards. The rooms are very old and not really nice, our hair dryer once went off and suddenly there was smoke. Since then we never used it again. They sent a cleaning woman to fix it but she did nothing.
DON'T book tours from anex, you can get way cheaper ones from people who live around or there. Go to Saona Island and Catalina, really worth it. The animation was really nice! Very good dancers and always new dances. But they acted so arrogantly when you saw them, not every one but some of them. Don't book a tour to the capital, too expensive and not worth it. Totally wasted money. "

" This hotel is NOT worth the amount of money you spend for a night there.
The rooms lack hygiene. The A/C, when it works, makes a noise that could wake up the dead. You can smell the odor of humidity. There are no ammenities in the room I was given ( no iron, no fridge, no coffee maker, no blow dryer). The windows don't close. Nobody goes to clean your room or, at the very least, change your towels and give you more shampoo.
The food, no variety or quality. The so-called "snack bar" only had fries and ketchup, and pizza with moldy pepperoni. You have to wait a looong time for somebody to even look at your table if you need something at the buffet, and one of the waiter was even drying his sweat with one of the table napkins!!!
The building is old and dirty.
A lot of the employees do not speak english in any way, shape or form.
You can find way better options for a similar price in Bayahibe and Punta Cana. "

" Terrible! Food, Maintenance and Drinks were horrible. The food was not fresh. The room and bathroom were poorly maintained staff are cheap with the towels, we 3 guest and only 2 towels were provided to us. The air conditioner made a loud and disturbing noise and it Barely worked. The rooms do not have a fridge. The Drinks were so watery. The bartenders would utilize the same cup you were using to give you another drink (without washing it). The pools were not clean. Would not return to this place at all. "
