" This place SCAMMED us!!!!!!! I repeat this place scammed us. Do not use Enterprise or Alamo's services while you are in Dominican Republic. We paid full insurance and my husband clashed against a wall while trying to back out of a parking lot. It wasn't anything major but the guy that checked our car when we returned it said that something had hit us and that we needed a police report, if not they will charge us over 500 dollars. We explained but he wouldn't listen. He made us go to the police station with a guy that wasn't an employee!!!!! who then demanded money for his help or wouldn't give us our document back. THIS WAS A SCAM! WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE EVER AGAIN! WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARTS "

" Muy buen lugar para renta de todo tipo de vehículos, pueden ser rentados en el aeropuerto y pueden ser entregados en cualquier otra sucursal de National Car Rental a nivel nacional en la República Dominicana. Ofrecen excelente servicio y poseen una gran gama de vehículos para cubrir todas las necesidades que tenga el cliente. Los precios son aceptables, buena disponibilidad para la entrega y muy buenas condiciones de los vehículos. "

" Absolutely horrible customer service and ethics. Reserved a car for 2:30p and didn't get it until 4p. To appease me they drove me north of the airport where I had to wait in the sun while they washed the car. Meanwhile the employees there were hanging out taking selfies. Got a car full of dents, 3/4 gas tank and damaged second row seat so that the third row was not accessible. Not to mention one of the tires kept on losing air. I purchased the national protection plan and when I asked the guy at the counter about it he told me that if I hit another car or if another car hit me then I needed to wait for the police to get a report.
During my stay in Santo Domingo I rented an apartment with a very tight parking entrance and unfortunately i ended up scratching the rear side passenger side of the car. Since it didn't involve another vehicle I didn't get a police report. When I returned the car they said I needed a police report. I explained that they only told me it was necessary if it was involving another car. They had me complete an incident report and told me that they would email me.
Didn't hear back from them. Had been checking on my credit card and saw that they charged me $1706 for the damage. That is ridiculous. I called the company in the USA and they took two weeks reviewing just to send me a copy of the invoices. They are in spanish. The one with the damage translates to "various damages" and no other explanation. The USA group said they couldn't do anything else but give me 3 free day coupons but I had to call the people in Santo Domingo.
I feel completely ripped off. Got horrible service from these people and corporate's answer was for me to call the same people that offered horrible service. No toll free number, I am supposed to spend money on an international call to a group of individuals that don't know how to communicate and have no idea what customer service means.
My advice is to run away from this company. Don't waste your hard earned money on a company that doesn't care about customers. "
